Sehtreff

The Sehtreff takes place twice per semester and is headed by one of our employees. This platform offers visually impaired students the possibility to talk about their problems, exchange their experience in study life due to their impairment and find solutions.
 
In addition to that ACCESS@KIT reports on its innovations and developments.
 
Other topics that are discussed are leisure activities, orientation and mobility in the city and on the campus such as current construction sites in the city or traffic lights for the blind.
 
Frequent topics are the use of smartphones, new helpful apps as well as games which can be played acoustically.
 
This is a voluntary meeting of the ACCESS@KIT for students.
